Sorry I though you saud 8 or 9 MORE months. Our PD is the 18th, so today is 8 months for us. We are hoping that with the approvals around us being done itll be no more than a couple of weeks before we receive an approval, perhaps another month for you then?

They are processing one week of applications per month, so i guess it take MAY for me since my PD was 22nd June 2012, this makes me worry.Waiting is so hard.

My hubs works for the FAA and has it off. I think it's a federal holiday... Perhaps state govt workers wouldn't have it off?

What did I miss...........

We had an approval yesterday the 17th.

At the rate I'm going I miss my own approval.

God, you sound like me, Sonjat, so in my own head with anxiety. Take a deep breath and relax for a few days and don't worry about the NVC or paperwork. Give yourself and your nerves a holiday and a bubble bath and just rest in the happy thought that you've been approved and there is a next step. :)

I'm a dual US/Hungarian citizen (both by birth; Hungarian citizenship verification TBA), and my husband is a dual British/Irish citizen (by treaty) from Northern Ireland. We are atheists.

All advice is given pursuant to the Disclaimer that you may read at the bottom of each forum page.

LATEST STEPS:

28 Jun 2013: POE Houston

08 Jul 2013: SSN received (at SSA office)

07 Aug 2013: Green Card received

27 Feb 2014: Whoa, life happened. Planning move "back home" together to Republic of Ireland by end of April.

29 Apr 2014: POE Dublin through Heathrow

15 May 2014: Received formal residency/work permission (GNIB card with Stamp 4, one year renewable) for the ROI

or you wouldn't feel like me.
