Called USCIS today to file a service request as today is the 5 month 1 day mark. I was told that VSC is still working on May and it will be about 20 days till they get to my petition, PD June 4th. So

Congrats Cesar & Cata!! Hopefully we will be hearing something in the next few days. Our PD is June 4th!! But when I called they wouldn't let me put a SR in as they were supposedly 20 days behin

DCF is Direct Consular Filing. Where the USC lives abroad and the I-130 is therefore sent to the USCIS field office at the local consulate. Much MUCH quicker than filing to USCIS in the States.

If I'm not mistaken

We did had a PD June 11 approval

on January 16 for (ABDAR and ZIN)

Hey Guys, I'm a July 6 filers, but I have been watching this thread for 6 months now, because I know that as soon as you are all approved I'm next. I was very happy to see that we had someone else approved on the 17th so I decided to join and say Congratz.... Reading these posts has helped me get thru this process, knowing that I'm not alone, just wanted to let u guys know u are in my prayers...

So you should be approved before me. (depending what worker holds our paper and how quick they are) (ha)

Hello me again with questions.

Checked with my consulate. I send Form DS-2001 (declaration for interview readiness) together with DS-230.

I understand this. Have all documents together for this part.

I too can do the medical anytime. Its good for 12 month.

The stuff I need doing prior I understand too.

Question: FC-029 anyone did this.

This form declares that all "copies of documents submitted are exact photocopies of unaltered original documents

and I understand that I may be required to submit original documents to an Immigration or Consular official at a later date."

I was told to use this, and not send originals. WONDERING...

Did you actually request to change your address?

If so... then it usually does that, but doesn't mean they are touching it =[

Yes we requested that it be changed. Well I don't care if you're a debbie downer. I'd rather be realistic about things. Okay! I guess we're still waiting!! :) Thanks, KDH!

Though it does show a touch. I'll count it as a touch for my own personal reasons.

I specifically requested my address be changed last fall. They are just getting around to it apparently.

Ouch. Last fall!

Don't worry, I know my last touch date was just entry to be able to see it online lol.

But I still occasionally look at it like it meant something :lol:

:lol: That's what I mean. Sometimes fire can be your best friend in the wilderness. It doesn't make any sense, but it keeps you from going insane in the dark.

I'm treating this as my fire in the wilderness.

Your so "RIGHT" it means something. Its good to hear they touched your paper. I don't care for what reason it got touched.

It tells me there are still some "HUMANS" working in the office. (ha) I hope January is ending our long wait.

USCI just updated their progress log sheet status from last of Jan 4 to Jan 17 (which is the most current updated of now). For I-130 relative, spouse....etc! case last touch been move from May 21 to May 28, it is the latest update since Jan 17. :wacko:

My PD is July 31 and I hope and projected it will end soon in April :whistle:

I wish all you of June filers will get approve soon so we can get some hope :thumbs:
