It's because people are not updating their timelines properly. They put Vermont as their service center, but they should be putting NBC. All I-130 apps sent after Aug 15, 2012 were sent to the National Benefits Center.

More than a month ago..... it makes me think some officers are just lazy, and we've ended up with our cases on their desks...

This sure is good news. But what are you saying? Might some of us be approved-but the officers never found enough time to timely enter our approval into their computer system? (This is one long sentence) (lol)

I checked ones more. Its not the officers. I noticed the applicant/petitioner continued immediately their process. In their excitement they missed updating. No complain on my side.

I don't want to be a cry baby but I'm sad. I came back to Puerto Rico since March (I was living in Mexico with my husband). My sons miss his daddy, I miss him too, he misses us. All his family moved to San Diego in August with tourist visas and they are living happily there. We are doing the process in a legal way and it's taking a long time. They even make fun of us. I will wait for the process, but can you understand my pain? It's not fair that they are in US with tourist visas while my hubby is still in Mexico because Vermont is taking too long. I hope all of us receive our NOA2 soon. Merry Christmas!!!!

Yeah, this makes me think if they were really starting to work on june cases on november or IF maybe this one was an expedite or something....I really wanna believe that VSC delay is because a large amount of applicants, but who knows!

Hehe yes I agree with that! seems like that user continued the process inmediately and he/she forgot to update the timeline

Aww *hugs* yeah, through this journey I have seen cases like yours and it's really heartbreaking to see how families are separated during months because of this process. In our case it's just me and my husband, we have no kids, and it's hard to be away from each other; now I think of parents with children,it's even harder to be away from them.

I really wish you receive your NOA2 soon and of course MERRY CHRISTMAS FOR YOU TOO!!

Merry Christmas fpr you too

This is tough. But I assure you, doing everything the legal way is always worthwhile in the long run. I lived always legal. But I don't know what I return too. My student loan is over due. My house is lost. My kids grown up too fast. But I have faith. This is one adventure.
