We have placed an e-request a few days ago (it finally went through!!) we got the receipt #, my husband called in and they said that YES, we had in fact a request and that we would hear from them soon.

We thought that MAYBE they would take a look to our case...and we just got an email today stating that they apologize for any missunderstanding but the case is within normal processing times. ARE YOU SERIOUS? :bonk:

I'm sorry they dashed your hope. We have nothing on our side but the time to wait. I'm 6 mo. 1 wk. Got the feeling we run into 7 month before approval. What bothers me is them not informing us over their honest time frame. I feel out of this world. Don't know at this moment where I belong. I'm frustrated.

We filed on June 13th and received NOA1 on June 20th. We have 4 cases going through (wife and 3 children). Looks like we are going through the CSC, per the NOA1 letter. My estimate puts NOA2 sometime in November. I'm hoping it is sooner.

mine was in june 8and was approved in august 10. now we are waiting for NVC to complete the case.but there is only one beneficiary. yours must be very soon.wish you the best atleast with NVC you can move things faster.

That was an old message you responded to. If you look at that person's timeline, you'll see that they have had their I-130 approved already and are at the NVC stage.

Aww thanks, and I think you are right we have just have the time to wait on our side.

Indeed the long waiting being away from our beloved ones it's really frustrating!! My whole family is concerned about us, they just cant believe how can we live away from each other during long months...this situation it's not normal for most of relationships, but I would NEVER change my decision even if I could ever go back in time!! I LOVE MY HUSBAND and this loooooong wait is worth it if I am gonna be able to live with the love of my life forever!!

You will be together soon enough. Each one of you does what needs doing, and you work together.

Everything will work out in due time.

Knowing that dosent actually help. If they had said 6 month+ to start with I wouldn't mind, but claim '5.4 months' when it's far, FAR beyond that is appaling.

Agree. I cannot stand the inaccuracies. They think that updating us with accurate processing times doesn't make a difference since it doesn't speed up processing, but it DOES make a difference for most of us who are trying to plan our lives! We need predictability, even if we cannot have speed.

They don't have their timeline filled in, yet. That might be an error.

And technically this thread is for any June I-130 filers.
