Well, we spend Thanksgiving together. Might as well celebrate the next holidays together. :)

At this point I no longer believe anyone is going through the papers. It feels more like they push their

computer button at a certain date.

June 4th is our priority date - have heard nothing yet! :(

Hi all :)

Alissa here, I hope your visa journeys are going as smoothly as they can. Who else filed in June or plans to file by the end of June? I'd love to meet my "entering class" of the CR-1 forum :)

So, if you filed in June, when did you file? Have you received your NOA1 yet? Tell us something about yourselves :)

June 4th is our priority date - have heard nothing yet! :( I am the USC filing for my Canadian husband. We have a beautiful daughter and one on the way....and really can't wait to make the US our home!!

NOA1 - June 4th, 2012

NOA2 - January 11th, 2013

If the 48 entries on VJ (found on Igor's List) are a good sample of applications submitted to VSC in May, then May Visa Journey VSC I-130 applications are at 60.4%.

I assume that about 85% of VJ members update their timelines based upon the averages for January, February, and March (which are pretty much 100% complete by now in reality, but are only showing an average of 85% complete).

Given that about 85% of VJ members update their timelines, I might approximate VJ members who've submitted I-130 apps to VSC at around 71.1% actually complete. The apps completed are ranging from the beginning of the month to the very end, now, though. So they could be starting June any day now. Our chances get better with every May approval!

Yeah, that's the strange thing!

Last week also Cesar & Cata mentioned that they have seen at least 2 cases from June approved, I have also seen a post from a June filer approved and they don't appear on the list! I don't know why is that....

I have a feeling that the timeline searches don't work 100%, I was looking to check NOA2 vs. Case Closed @NVC and interview date. When I searched for timelines I would see people that completed their case but had no interview date, but when I looked directly at their timeline you can clearly see that they had entered all their information. Looked like the timeline search wasnt able to see/use the people timeline. Had to look at everyones timeline one by one.

Still wishing you guys the best, some good news before X-mas would be great, just remember that NOA2 is not the end but rather the beginning to another process in which you will need to be much more proactive in order to get speed!!

Take a few minutes to read/re-read the NVC december thread post #1 and #2, make sure you have all your docs in order and the NVC phone number on speed dial.

I found out why this is happening. People have DCF checked on their timelines. I wasn't showing up in Igor's List either. A mod told me to uncheck DCF. I wasn't sure what they meant, because there is no section where you can "uncheck" DCF. I found out that if you put that you filed abroad, that it would automatically count you as DCF, though. So I removed the portion that said that I filed abroad (made that part of my timeline blank) and it worked!

Bee below on how to remove DCF from your timeline. Thanks.

DCF is Direct Consular Filing. Where the USC lives abroad and the I-130 is therefore sent to the USCIS field office at the local consulate.

Much MUCH quicker than filing to USCIS in the States.

Thanks! Happy Holidays to you, too. Hopefully we'll have some good news! Just can't wait to curl up with my girl and watch National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation! It's a tradition!
