This is a contract between the sponsor and you.Needs to be send with 864.

The sponsor becomes financially responsible for you, lets say even after divorce and you live in the US.

This form is used in court to enforce that he pays.

Did you like my hair raising faces...haha...

Nothing is simple with me. I can see their point. Anyone could have typed my degree. The only difference I see is the paper being shorter.

We only have one district court in Bangor. I say with such a paper its better to go to the source.

I'm interested to learn later what my daugther has to say. Hope good news.

How long does it take, do you think, the response from the supervisor. I'm concerned I email and no response.

Letting me assume this is a NO,

With this assumption I send documents to NVC, all the while they transfered case to Germany...

Your turn will come with your mother in-law.....

Isn't the 864A a contract between everyone who helped to reach the level above poverty.

What I mean, does each individual needs to sign one, or just petitioner and beneficiary??

OMG we dnt send this form.what i have to do nowcray5ol.gif

Breath.... for in this moment you can't do nothing but check for a solution.

Maybe we figure something out before RFE.

I-864A is the form that is completed by a household member when said household member is combining income with a sponsor. If no one is combining income in order to qualify to sponsor, then the form is not used.

I'm surprise the lawyer didn't tell you about the embosses stamp of your divorce degree documents.

The longer paper that you see is called Legal size and in school they have or may not have it. If that is the case just have your daughter go to nearest Staple or OfficeMax or Kinko and they can print it out for her for little fee.

Did you get the automate respond from NVC? if you didn't than you may take a look if you have sent it to correct email address. If everything is good than I would say max is 3 days, fastest I see is couple hours.

It's not an issue if you sent the I-864. The I-864EZ can be used in lieu of the I-864 if the conditions that allow its use are met. Even if you are allowed to use the EZ form but still submit the I-864, it's no problem.

Ryan is correct. For an example of my spouse income is under PG and she need my income to meet PG so the procedures would be........

Spouse (petitioner) - fill out I864 <<< fill in my income and name/relationship >>>

Me - fill out I-864a <<< swear under oath that person whom I'm going to be responsible will not be a burden to me lol >>>

If a petitioner sponsoring a large family and doesn't make enough for everyone than Joined sponsor will come in and fill out I-864 for the remain crew.

I didn't have a lawyer. Was enough paying my former husband in exchange for my son. (I got his parental rights taken away 5 years later)

I checked. Maine doesn't use long form paper. My daughter just emailed She couldn't print the Barcode sheet. I directed her to the portal with clear step by step direction. (she will get this done and giving her best) I guess after she runs over to the court. If she can't print the barcode. no problem at the moment. I scan one to print for her.

I didn't email NVC yet. I wondered what might the time frame is. If response takes 3 days.

Than I say my papers are quicker to arrive at NVC. Its just a delay of couple days. They only want to see the embosses stamp to call case complete.

Now I hope for good news from my daughter.

Yep I agreed....just sent in what ever they ask and get it over with. The other route could be done too and could save you little $$$.
