Called USCIS today to file a service request as today is the 5 month 1 day mark. I was told that VSC is still working on May and it will be about 20 days till they get to my petition, PD June 4th. So

Congrats Cesar & Cata!! Hopefully we will be hearing something in the next few days. Our PD is June 4th!! But when I called they wouldn't let me put a SR in as they were supposedly 20 days behin

DCF is Direct Consular Filing. Where the USC lives abroad and the I-130 is therefore sent to the USCIS field office at the local consulate. Much MUCH quicker than filing to USCIS in the States.

Congrats, welcome to NVC stage.

Wow.. and long journey for you. Congratulation. Give them 7 working days to transfer your documents to NVC before calling for your case and invoice number. dancin5hr.gif

Got approval on May 07 after two RFEs.

Passport Timeline (Submitted at USPS, Standard Processing, Standard Delivery, Locator number: 51) & SSA Update & Naturalization Certificate Receipt

 

03/23/2022: Application for passport submitted at USPS facility under standard processing.

04/04/2022: Status changed to “The U.S. Department of State has received your application for your passport book on 04/04/2022. We're now reviewing your application and supporting documents...Your application locator number is 51*******.”

04/04/2022: Check for passport cashed.

05/03/2022: Status changed to "The U.S. Department of State approved your application for your passport book. We're now printing your passport book and preparing to give it to you. You should receive your passport book on or around 05/09/2022."

05/05/2022: Passport Received.

05/09/2022: SSA Citizenship Status Updated.

05/25/2022: Naturalization Certificate received in mail.

i feel next is NVC will receive, assign number.

on the whole..can we say its 2 and half month game till visa??

YES, get yourself ready. Get your packages ready. Have your original documents ready. Just in general, use the time to have everything ready.

I admit I couldn't have done it as quick if it wasn't for Readerchoice pushing me. rofl.gif

I see you got stuck.

I personally didn't wait for the DS3032 Form. Waiting for everything is wasting time.

I wrote a regular email (I think its on page 103) without Barcode.

I appointed myself as agent with my email address.

This wasn't a problem. I never could find a barcode for this Form.

Did you at least get a barcode for your I-864 to print?

Ohterwise call NVC if there is a computer problem.

I email my DS-3032 on may 10th and i got automated response withing a second from NVC, do i want to call and confirm NVC weather they received my DS-3032?

I didn't.

About ten days later I was adviced to resend it...changing the subject line to "Supervisor". Got immediate response that everything is okay.

They don't really respond to DS3032. (my opinion)

They have on file email address to whom they send mail.

I simply and constantly checked with the payment portal. 1st it opened for 864... and one week later for DS230.

I paid and send my documents immediately the next day.

They confirmed that they received it (and will work on it in the order received)

I say all they do is enter the email address in the computer.
