I called NVC yesterday around 11:45pm just to wake them up before they leave for the night laughing.gif . The guy who answer phone seem to be half asleep, told me nothing is news on the case..."anything else ?...." he in such a hurry to hang up. laughing.gif He told me to call and check with local embassy schedule, this way I will have better ideas. Oh well it's good to bother them once in awhile to make sure they are working. laughing.gif

Readerchoice....I'm screaming your name.....

I called NVC because of the DS230,

telling them it arrived in their building yesterday.

She told me to disregard this....Yeah...

I asked about my AOS....all done , finished , set and accepted. This within 7 working days.

rofl.gifrofl.gif I did a good job getting the papers together...I'm happy and no more hungry.

Well...got to transfer some money to my son tomorrow..rofl.gif Its Prom night saturday.

darn! got an RFE.. but was sure my husband sent my sis proof of resident status... too bad my husband is now on his way here...

This doesn't sound good. Maybe your sister can make a copy of her Green card and send it to NVC with your case number.

Just a suggestion.

But its nice you get to see your husband.heart.gif

Well....I told you about that false checklist once your AOS has been accepted. The system will send an automate false checklist stating missing DS-230 or package IV and nothing else of course has not been received. But since they already got the DS-230 or IV package from you that message can be ignore.

Money for prom.....wow I had to works during prom can't afford it. tongue.png

darn too bad.. i thought i only got 1 RFE.. but they also still require my husband to send another proof of employment.. he already sent a letter of self-employment but never listened to send a copy of paystubs.. he is a limo driver.. self-employed... any idea what else to submit?

i'm not frustrated with the process i am just a little upset with the amount of attention my husband is giving to this process... i already talked to him if he wants to continue this process... and he said yes... and clarified to him that i want to be with him because we love each other and what's the point of marrying if we cant be together... there are a lot of factors i am considering and try to understand that he might be busy but at least im hoping that when he does these things, he will do it as how it should be done...

oh guys, i need your prayers...

congrats also to those who have successfully accomplished the NVC stage... dancin5hr.gifdancin5hr.gifdancin5hr.gif

Yes..its good. Accepted stands for approved. I try to reassure myself.

Okay..you told me so. But you told me so many things to begin with.rofl.gif

I have to defend my son. He lived with me over here for some time.

I homeschooled too. When I send him home he got a job, taken his SAT test.

Applied for the University (all paperwork done) Got his drivers license.... he just turned 18.

I say pretty good. The town is good too letting him be part of the prom. I have my 21 year old,( turning 22 next month) providing for her brother.

He doesn't make much money. She goes to RN school and works full time. good.gif

yes it's not bad... what i feel bad about is the fact that i have to deal again with my husband in getting additional documents for the AOS.. with the resident status..we already sent it but they said they probably overlooked it and so they just want us to resubmit... :/

Just think he is on his way to be with his wife. Not knowing your husband, but I gather from your writing he has a more "relaxed" approach to this all.

I don't know anything about the I-864. But I read you need to submit your last 3 years of tax return. 2010, 2011,2012.

Being self-employed is without paystubs. Its best to get the tax returns send in.

Hang in there and don't lose faith.

Well......if he's self-employed, he will need to prove it, and by doing so is to submit his tax-ID# that was giving to him when he applied from the city where he reside, plus 3 years of taxes transcript from uncle sam (IRS). Now if he doesn't have a tax-id # than he will need to draft / dress up a letter head with his company name on top, than explain his job duties and charges rate, when does this business established....so forth + 3 years of tax transcript or actual 1040A tax form along with his 1099. I prefer transcript because it much less papers.

Because your sister will be co-sponsor they won't ask too much or focus on your husband side in regards to his income, but because he mention that he has a job or self employed, he will required prove of that income that he wrote on I-864 form even it under poverty guideline.

When you ready and have all your documents make sure you reprint the AOS cover letter from the online portal and attached it as first page. This way they can references it to your case faster using the bar code.

Hello, You got case number and I assume your invoice number.

I used the case number to immediately write and email my DS3032.

About 6 days later my payment portal for 864 got loaded, and I paid the same day.

This I knew because I checked daily by entering case number and invoice number,

to see if I got invoiced.

I didn't wait for emails. I mean I knew I have to pay it. Don't forget to print the bar code sheet.

yes.gifyes.gifyes.gifyes.gif

Hi

We got email to pay the $$$,we paid but we dnt get bar code, when they will generate bar code, after 6 days??? i want to mail them DS-3032 with the bar code.

Oh..sign yourself back into the payment portal. Scroll down and you can read Bar-code sheet to print.

It is available immediately.

I forgot. The bar code sheet is only for what you paid.

If its paid for I-864 send your package with that sheet.

It holds the address in front. (This is if you don't do it online)
