When you call again and they entered your case, they will give you your case number when you ask for it.

You have nothing to worry yet. You are not over 20 working days. Try to be patient a little longer.

Mine is arranged marriage our 1st year adversary finish last month,we dnt stay alone even for few days,we stayed w his family, once we start this case we thought i will be with him in 6-8 months, but 10 months over still waiting alone :(

goofy.gif Look at it this way. You survived your 1 year of marriage. The next 60 years will be easy from now on. (this is a joke)

I say all of us June 2012 filers run into a 12 month total process time frame. (at least)

But we are a bunch of tough fellows. We learned patience.good.gifrofl.gif

You be together soon.heart.gifdancin5hr.gif

No. I can't say such thing.

I'm saying all have us wait just as long as you are.

We can hope that it doesn't take much longer.

Stay patient. When you get your case number things run faster.

Make sure you have everything ready.

dancin5hr.gif Just checked with my bank account. 864 was withdrawn. I printed the page. I print everything.rofl.gif

Payment portal still says "in process". Well...I hold the proof its paid.

They too will receive my 864 package today.

I call this good timing.

Maybe tonight I get 230 invoiced. Need to get this over and done with.

Patience is hard on us...

It takes at least one week for USCIS to send the documents to NVC.

NVC another 15 working days to enter.

Thursday or Friday might be your day. Keep calling...

Just checked my own timeline.

My NOA2 approval was March 29.

I received my case number April 19.

As you can see, I waited 21 days.

I say this is how long the average is waiting.dry.png

I got approved from USCIS on Mar 5 (NOA2) NVC received my case 1 week later. It took them another 15 working business days (excluding weekend) for me to received a case# numbers and IIN. After that It took another 4 days to get the online portal ready to accept payment. Basicly I just watied 1 month before I can even sent out any documents.

You need to exclude the weekend and only count working business days as NVC referring to 15 working days is minimum, it may take up to 20 or more depend on volume they received.

You may wonder why others got approved the same time as you but they already had their case# or IIN????. Well, just think of this way....USCIS ship out boxes and boxes of approval cases........so they are stack up high in a room at NVC awaiting for case workers to get to them, and since your file may be in one of those boxes way on the bottom, a case worker aren't able to get to them soon enough, at this time you just have to wait at this point. Where as others may get lucky their files is in the top boxes.
