Now last one.

I read to staple the pages. Now I wonder if this is correct.

Can I fold my 8 pages in the middle ???

Or should I send without folding.

Its less expensive when the envelope is smaller.

:wow: I'm done.

Yes, it does say staples them together, but don't fold them and should be put in a full size or oversize envelope.

1. Bar code sheet >>> once they scanned in the system the cover letter will probably be discard so no need to mention it on here just my 2 cents

Rest looks good. But isn't it your daughter or petitioner should be filling out I-864 as well? even thought you're already qualified as i-864w.

:wow: :wow: You got me jumping. I've been reading through it one more time. Don't have me sweat.

The 864w is about the intending immigrant who can be credited with 40 quarters.

The instruction is simple. Only this form if 40 credits are earned.

Anything else will be rejected.

I did read in some forums how people filed the regular 864 and encountered problems. The department requested that they have to file 864w because they had the credit. This forms is for 1) self petitioner widow 2)self petitioner who encountered abuse

3) children of US citizen are credited with their parents 40 quarters and 4) someone like me who earned it. :wow:

Don't have me sweat. I'm worried now, even if I have no reason. :bonk:

Thank you for answering all my questions. I guess I bite the expense of large envelope. :crying: :crying:

Looks like the loaded my payment portal this AM. If I get my payment through tonight,

I will mail this out tomorrow and they have it by Monday.

By this time the payment is recognized.

I say so...

Now I figured out the answer.

At least my common sense says

the purpose of the 864w is that no other person needs to take financial responsibility.

Does this makes sense. Why have the form.

I-864w is for you (beneficiary) to fill out. Petitioner will also need to fill out I-864 regardless of situation. I would suggest you to call NVC ASAP about this. I pretty sure that your daughter (petitioner) will still have to fill out I-864 if she meet PG or not it doesn't really matter it's a procedures according to instructions.

:bonk: :bonk: :bonk: omg..I was about to die of a heart attack.

I checked into it. Travel.state.gov/visa/laws/telegram

On May 17, 2001 USCIS issued a memo under some law section and number......to all embassy and government places...

40 Quarters SSA in Lieu of I-864

Under section #4

(This is what it says exactly)

USCIS Then Addresses The Issue Of Whether The I-864 Is Still Required If The Sponsored Alien (which is me) Has Already Worked, Or Can Be Credited With The 40 Qualifying Quarters Of Coverage. The USCIS Conclusion, As Stated In The Memo, Is That The I-864 Is Not Repeat Not Required In Such Case.

Finding the law section was such a relief.

   You betcha. But I still appreciate your concern. It was a good thing to check one more time. Wasting time in doing nothing doesn't help. And it does make sense. Why run through 864 from petitioner if beneficiary is exempt from it.

  :wow: back to breathing and some chocolate.

I didn't attach the Form. I emailed the writing.

Subject line: DS-3032, case #, name, DOB

(in the body)

NVC case #

USCIS #

Petitioner name

Petitioner DOB

Beneficiary name

Beneficiary DOB

RE: Declaration of choice of Address and Agent for Immigrant Visa Applicant

My name is _________, my visa case number is _________. Per DS-3032 (choice of Address and Agent for Immigrant Visa Applicants), I would like to appoint "myself" ___________ as my agent of choice to receive all future correspondence from the U.S. Department of State. My contact information is provided below. Please let me know if you need additional information.

This was it. I mailed this to NVCINQUIRY@STATE.GOV without bar code. I was told if they need bar code they will request one. And if they do...I just attach the barcode and resend the same. But I received confirmation 30 seconds later that they received it. So far no one asked for anything.

Hi Sonjat I am the Petitioner and will be the person filling out the ds-3032 so would i use my name in the declaration section and would i say i appoint my self or do i put my husbands name in the declaration and say i appoint "my wife" as agent? I'm very confused about this part.

I answered to neto123 the same. I hope it helps.

Hello,

Actually it is your husband (beneficiary) filling out the DS-3032.

He can appoint you.

The DS-3032 generates the DS-230 for your husband.

I don't know if through emailing they notice a different.

Just saying. But its for your Husband. He appoints his wife.
