Is NVC letter necessary when doing Medical at St. Lukes?

My fiance is now ready to do her Medical. She is concerned though that they wouldn't let her do the medical if the NVC letter is not presented. I haven't received anything from NVC. I called them and got my MNL#. She's been reading a lot from here and seeing a lot of post that the NVC letter showing the MNL# is necessary when going to St. Lukes for medical.

I guess, I just want to get clarification that as long as we have the interview appointment letter then she is good to go for her medical?

I apologize if this is in the wrong forum. I was trying to post it in the Philippines portal but couldn't find the way.

Thank you VJ community!

What letter from NVC letter showing the MNL#? Do you mean the NOA2? The NOA2, nor is anything else from NVC necessary for your fiancee to proceed to SLMCEC for the medical. Once she pays the visa fee at any BPI branch, then after scheduling the interview online, she will print the confirmation and take that with her to SLMCEC.

No you do not need the NVC letter, that is "optional". St. Luke's does want to see confirmation for the interview at the embassy so after you schedule online make sure to print a copy or two of the appointment confirmation and bring one with you to St. Luke's along with all the other required documents.

St. Luke's:

Have copies of passport bio page, confirmation page from scheduling interview online at embassy, and of course the 2X2 photos. (copy of annulment is asked for at times)

Preregister at St. Luke's, it saves time when you arrive.

Hi! How did you get your MNL case number? We got ours through phone and through email (NVC replied to my inquiry, and then I also emailed USEm and they replied too)... If you have any email indicating your case number you can also print that and show it at St. Luke's. But they will still allow you to have your medicals even without it... just bring your interview appointment confirmation and other requirements as listed in their website.
