Interview in Lima next week!

As much as I've tried to prepare, it's still a bit nerve-wracking to know that after 10 months of being separated from the person I love most in this world, it all comes down to a complete stranger's perspective/mood/opinion as to whether or not my husband and I will finally be together again....

The documents are complete. The evidence is abundant. We are deeply in love. But I'm still scared to death.

I would probably die right there in the Embassy if we were denied. I so want this nightmare to end.

Any advice/suggestions/recommendations would be greatly valued, I assure you!!!

As closer this time comes, as more stressed you feel. But I gotta leave for Poland and be on plane after 4 hours, and now I feel quite calm and content already.

You know, in edge situations, person have unknown and imeasurable resources inside. In the right moment, if your feelings and willing is honest, this will come out, and you will feel very confident and sure about what you are doing. Like me now.

And even if I think I would die right there in embassy, if I wont receive visa, same time I konw that nothing will stop me to fight to be with someone I love so dearly.

Good. I've only gone over the paperwork about 100 times, and am constantly badgering my sweet husband to have all his documents in order. He should have all his stuff taken care of this week (at least he better) and we will be well prepared.

If it wasn't for all the help I received on VJ, I would be institutionalized at this point!

If you're prepared, by far the most likely outcome is approval.

If it helps you sleep better, realize that even if you have a problem, you're only looking at a delay, probably short.

If they can't approve your visa that day, be sure and STAY CALM, ask them for the exact reason, and ask them what you can do to overcome their objection. Be polite, don't storm out of there without finding out why they didn't approve you, and don't get into an argument or do anything else to make things worse. But let them know you intend to do what it takes to get eventual approval.

And having that plan in place, know that it's almost certain you won't need it. Our interview, like most of those related by people who went before and after us, was pretty short and anticlimactic.
