Form 1-693, I filled in wrong info for ALIEN NUMBER, will i get a RFE?

hello everyone!

I just realized a very stupid mistake I did, on the form- I1693, filled and sealed by the civil surgeon in DC, USA. In the blank to fill my Alien number I wrote the red alpha numeric 8 digit number!!

I think alien number is the one under annotation starting with AO ########!! What do I do now ? the envolpe is sealed so I can make any chnages?

Plesea help me, we paid $300 for that form :help: :help: :help:

Dont worry..The worst that can happen is that the form would be returned to you .Then you go back to the civil surgeon and he fills out a new one.

But i dont think they will do that. Minor mistakes like these are usual and uscis officers know

We have still not send the AOS, so I think its better to contact the surgen and request for the duplicate form with correct info.

I hate the documentaions....its long and never ending lol

Yea,thats the best thing to do. A friend of mine ran into similar problem(his wife opened the envelope by mistake). Civil surgeon charged him $20 for a new paperwork

Funny! This people never stop charging extra?

I would hope he will not charge me I already paid $300!! lol
