I am making Walla Walla onion rings, salad, smoked chicken, and grilled asparagus. But first we are going to see Madagascar 3 :)

That sounds awesome ! Let me know how the movie is... Mahmoud loved the first 2.

Sounds like fun! I just had a pound of cherries and a chocolate protein shake. I'm set for a bit lol. Later I'll probably have some tofu and eggplant. O need to make warak diwali for class tomorrow.

:thumbs::thumbs::thumbs:

We downed a bunch of cherries today too. Love them!!! They're super cheap this week. We stocked up! :P

I have cherries, too - been munching on them for a few days now (giving 'em a break just for today.)

Warak dawali, eh ? Is this for a cooking class ? It's an art form getting those rolls just right...

Nah, it's for a living history demonstration. I can't think of anything else that's super easy for me to bring and have them play with. I mean i know a lot of recipes.. but it's one that doesn't need that many things since i learned it the Jordanian way (sans tomato).

I'll make my real ones when I come back in from running in 45 minutes. Yes, I know it's late lol.

I have never seen the first 2! I don't know how I have managed to be a mother for almost 12 years and not see them, but there it is.

3 was very funny. It was silly, and cute, and my daughter is still singing the circus sing.

Next weekend we are making our summer pilgrimage to the Columbia Gorge Fruit Loop, and Rainier cherries are on the list!

I love all cherries, but those Rainiers from the Gorge are spectacular.

Oh yay! That should be really nice!

It will be the same pink I got tired and had to stop :lol: I did not realize I wrote it that way :blink:

There are black and white zebra curtains to contrast....and for the first time we are agreeing on the theme. :thumbs: I love the look.

You know here in San Diego the sun never came out today and it was chilly..so we skipped the bbq and I followed the Lowes commercial suggestion and started redecorating on the fourth of July. :thumbs:

Hi ladies. I'm off to have some highlights in my hair. I leave a week from today for Amman. I am so unbelievably anxious and stressed about my husband's upcoming interview, I am even having nightmares about it. Can anyone share their interview experiences with me? I don't know why all of a sudden I am so stressed about it helpsmilie.gif

Ammar went in. he said everyone was brought to the windows one by one and was denied and sent home. Then, they called him into a back room with vending machines and tables (sounds like the staff lounge lol). They didn't take anything from him, including the police certificates (grrr). They also didn't want to see the mounds of things I gave him to show. He said she would read out the form and answer them all herself (like "Name:XXXXX, Date of Birth: XXXXX.") At the very end she said, "I just have one question-- why did your wife get divorced?" and he said, "That's not your business. Ask her if you want to know." She then just said "well, ok, congratulations, I'll take your passport and you'll receive the visa in about a week via Aramex." End of interview.
