Fiance is traveling here to the US today, I hope people here will not forget to complete their CFO Seminar before leaving the Philippines because a lot were refused their flight this morning apparently due to not having the CFO sticker. I'm glad I saw this only a week or two before the interview. I bought her ticket online through vayama and hopefully she'll be here soon!

That CFO really is MANDATORY. SMEF-COW is not a bad place from her experience.

I hope nobody here got refused for that reason (no CFO) this morning since there was apparently a lot.

Good luck! Less things overlooked = less delays =

Do you mean that even if a person has already been in the US for several times and even stayed there for 6 months, he/she still need to undergo the CFO seminar? What else he/she can learn from the seminar if he/she has been in the US several times?

Right. A friend was also prohibited from boarding a plane two years ago because she didn't have a CFO sticker although she attended a CFO seminar.

Congratulations to you and your fiancee! You look lovely together. Blessings for the marriage and beyond. star_smile.gif

I think the CFO is a requirement to all emigrants. They're just gonna tell you at the seminar that if you arrive in the US on a K1 visa and your husband deceptively invites you for a vacation in Mexico before you could legally travel, turn him down because he'd likely dump you since he knows you wouldn't be allowed to enter the US that way. headbonk.gif

Nothing very important, IMO, nevertheless a little useful.

It's mandated by the Government of the Philippines. You got to do it...
