Hello,

Our I-130 was approved May 17, 2012. Since then I have been contacting the NVC to request an expedite for a medical emergency. I've put in the subject ATTN SUPERVISOR and have also written to nvcresearch. I only get, what seems to be, automated responses, saying our petition has not yet been received. SO I called USCIS and they tell me our I-130 was sent to the NVC May 17, 2012. I finally had our congresswoman contact NVC and they responded to her with -

The Notices of Action (Form I-797) provided with your correspondence indicate these cases were approved and sent to NVC on May 17, 2012. Therefore, we contacted CIS for further information. On June 18, 2012, CIS indicated that these cases were still in the process of being shipped to the NVC.

But, from everyones posts on here and immigrate2us, petitions are being received and processed in 2 weeks. I just called USCIS again and spoke with an officer. He said all he can do is put in a service request and Ill be contacted by july 6. Has anyone been through this before? Any advice? Anyone dealt with NVC lately and have processing times? Im just having a heart attack over here. Thank you.
