Just a couple of questions about where to address cover letters and office selection information.

We live in Hawaii and so i understand that our local USCIS office is Honolulu

Also for Concurrent filing of I-130, !-485 & I-765 i understand it needs to be mailed to the Chicago Lock box

However i still have a couple of question about who to address cover letters to, is it where they are sent or where they will be processed?

1 Question 22 on the I-130, should i put Honolulu, HI or Chicago IL? I'm not sure where the petition will be processed?

2 The Cover letter for I-130 package, again should the address at the top be Honolulu or Chicago?

3 The Cover letter for I-485 package, same question.... Honolulu or Chicago?

4 The Cover letter for I-765, again should the address at the top be Honolulu or Chicago?

Thanks

For question 22 on i-130, we put Chicago.

For cover letter ..I don't think it matters what address you put on the cover letter as long as the address on the envelope is correct.

We didn't even send a cover letter with our AOS package. You really don't need one for each application.

If you still want to put an adress on top, I would just address it to Chicago or nothing at all.

Not honolulu though that would not be where they process it anyway.

What visa are you adjusting from? if you have a CR-1 you shouldn't have to do this process.

Your local office will do the biometrics and interview but that is not where your case will be processed.

If you have another type of visa, this is not the forum to post.

If you are adjusting from tourist, work, or student visa, most likely your case will be processed at the national benefits center.

But again.. it does not really matter what address you put at the top of cover letter.

Good luck!

Address your cover letters to USCIS at the Chicago PO Box. Send one package with two cover letters. Just list the I-765 as an item in the I-485 package. If you live in Honolulu, you indicate that's where you intend to adjust status. The Chicago facility will just do intake. The I-765 will go to Lee's Summit, MO while the I-130 and I-485 will end up in Honolulu.

Maybe this post should be moved.... i'm apply for an AOS from F-1.

thanks for the answer though!

Yes the post should be moved, but I understood the context of the question, so the answer is correct. Concurrent AOS filings based on marriage to a US Citizen follow the same process regardless of the visa category you have now.
