Can you correct I-130 once printed?

My wife and I (who live in England) just completed our I-130 package and expedited it to our mother-in-law in America. We are going to have her put the bank check in the package, and then send it to the Chicago lock box. However, we just noticed that we made a mistake on page 2 question 22 of the I-130.We simply need to add in London, England instead of N/A. Do we have to retype the whole thing and expedite it to America again, which is very expensive. Or can we simply write in the answer to correct it? Do they require that if you write in a correction you initial next to it? Thanks for your help

Another option would be to have your mother in-law fill out page 2 with the amended information, print it, and then add the corrected page to your package before she sends it.

Thanks for the response Ryan. The problem with that is the petitioner's signature is required on page 2 of the I-130, So if my mother-in-law was to print out page 2, there would be no wet signature. Unless our mother-in-law signed on our behalf if that is allowed

She cannot sign it on behalf of the petitioner. The petitioner must sign the I-130. No one else.

Why not have your MIL send the check to you?

Of course she can. Just have her draw a single line through N/A and next to it print London UK (Or London UK, if you prefer.) No worries whatsoever.

That really puts my mind at ease. Thank you. I will have my mother-in-law make the correction, And I will send it off tomorrow to the Chicago Lockbox, I am very excited.
