NVC Processing

Hi everyone! Good day. I just checked the status of our case and it says USCIS have approved the petition for I130. Does this mean our papers are forwarded to NVC already? And how do you go about the processing at NVC, what do I need to do? I really want to make everything right so the processing of our papers won't take any longer than it should, I hope somebody can give me advise and tips on how to process when the papers get to NVC.

Congratulations Mayang!

Well, first of after your petition is approved it is forwarded to NVC. Unfortunately, this process itself takes at least a month between it being shipped to NVC, NVC reviewing it and inputting in their system, and finally NVC assigning a new case number to it.

I suggest you join an NVC thread so you can relate to others in your same situation and follow Saylin's (NVC guru) posts.

That is not all together true.....I have seen a NVC case number received in 12 days following the NOA2.

This is a general average of the current wait time.

(Our case took from May 3 until May 30).

I am sure there are cases that are under and over a month time line.

That is why I suggested Mayang should join an NVC thread to see what other people are experiencing geeeez.
