Hey all you DORA people, I'm just passing by the forum real quick and wanted to bump up the DORA thread for up and coming DORA applicants :thumbs:

I-130 for both parents

March 28th 2013 - Priority date/ NOA 1
November 14th 2013 - Transferred to Nebraska Service Center

January 7th 2014 - Case changed online to approved for both

January 8th 2014 - case changed to shipped to NVC

January 9th 2014 - case changed to NOA 2 mailed

January 10th 2014 - Received the hardcopy of the NOA 2 stating that NVC would issue a case number in 30 days approx.

January 21st 2014 - Case Received at NVC

February 26th 2014 - Case numbers and IIN number received - Wrong embassy code assigned...now waiting for new case numbers.

March 3rd 2014 - Filled in DS-261 for both parents

March 5th 2014- AOS available, paid and submitted AOS packet.

March 6th 2014 - USPS shows packet was delivered at NVC

March 10th 2014 - AOS shows as paid in the CEAC portal/AOS logged into system as being received by NVC.

March 11th 2014 - New case number assigned for my Dad.

March 20th 2014 - Paid IV fee for my Mum.

March 25th 2014 - AOS accepted by NVC with no checklist.

March 26th 2014 - Filled in and submitted DS-260 for my Mum

March 31st 2014 - AOS found in my Mum's file for my Dad - accepted and placed into his file/IV fee available for my Dad and Paid.

April 1st - Mailed all civil documents to NVC for both parents.

April 3rd: IV fee shows as paid in portal/submitted DS-260 for my Dad.

April 22nd: checklist issued for civil documents - NVC error ...

April 23rd: sent another certified copy of my marriage certificate

April 24th: Case complete! :)

April 30th 2014 - Medical scheduled for parents at Knightsbridge in London

June 11th: Interview at London Embassy - Approved :)

Atlast I got my GC in mail today!. :)

DORA Timeline

08/21/05 - Met her for the first time.

01/21/06 - Got married.

08/08/06 - AOS interview.

08/15/06 - NOA received.

08/21/06 - Biometric appt. letter received.

09/07/06 - 30 Days - Biometric done.

10/26/06 - 79 Days - No communication of status from USCIS yet.

10/28/06 - 81 Days - Received 70 day letter.

05/29/07 - USCIS e-mail case approved, GC in mail.

06/01/07 - 300 Days. GC Received

I've been searching this thread for anything related to the 70 day letter, but I could not find anyone with a similar situation. I have just received my 70 day letter telling me that I am eligible to apply for EAD and AP and scheduling my appointment. My issue is that I have already applied for my EAD two months ago, and I have even gotten my fingerprints taken for it over a month ago. Now, I am not sure what they have done to my I-765 application. I have scheduled an appointment with the immigration officer via infopass, and I am going to bring my 70 day letter, my I-765 receipt and NOA papers, and my fingerprints receipt to this appointment. Do you think there's a chance they might issue me an EAD on the spot, since I have already jumped through all the hoops? Anyone been in the same situation?

April 13, 2010 - N 400 sent

April 14, 2010 - Received confirmation of delivery from mail carrier

April 23, 2010 - NOA date

April 26, 2010 - Check cleared

April 27, 2010 - NOA letter received

May 7, 2010 - Fingerprint letter received

May 24, 2010 - Fingerprint appointment

July 13, 2010 - Interview (passed!)

July 29, 2010 - Oath letter received. Oath scheduled for 08/26/2010

August 26, 2010 - I'm a US Citizen!!!!

I got my approval over the phone today!!!!! :D

This Morning a really nice lady from immigration in Dallas called me and told me that my case had been approved and that i should be getting my green card in 2 to 3 weeks!!!

For the people tha are wondering about the 70 day letter. WELL............i got one but i read that the system automatically sends one to people at the 70th day. So dont give up hope even if u do get a letter.

I just received "Card production ordered" email!!!

April 13, 2010 - N 400 sent

I'm bumping this topic back up again, so that it doesn't get lost. It has a lot of users experiences with DORA that I found to be invaluable when going through the process, and I hope that the thread will help other people :)
