That checklist that's posted is (or was) both more generic but more accurate. :-) By that I mean, there's some items on the list that clearly don't apply to K1'ers for example. However, the actual order of items reflects what they want at the interview. At least that is, when I went (back in September) and a few others, they would hand you that list and ask that packets were sorted in adherence to the list. This meant having to take neatly arrange packets apart in the waiting room.

All that said, since this was 8 months ago, maybe a more recent interviewee could clarify whether it's changed or not. jkage?

WRT G-325A passport photos... I dunno. I forgot (didn't know) to take a G-325A for my USC wife however the form does require it so I should imagine so. Maybe someone else can chip in.

I would say that, if the interview went well, then there should be no USCIS problems. However, most of the processing delays as I understand it are due to background checks so you shouldn't assume you'll be done in 90 days. Just hope!

9. I 864A (if applic)

10. 2005,2004,2002 income tax returns w w-2 statements

11. current letter of employment or 3 recent pay stubs

12.Birth certificate or Naturalization cert for pet and ben

13. Benif proof of entry/I94 and or passport with inspection stamp

14. Marriage certificate(if applic)

15. Petitioners alien resident card or proof of US Citizenship

16. Commingling of assets of Petitioner with Benif(If appropriate)

17.Original(NO COPY) sealed medical envelope Containing I-693 &I693A

Please note that it was alot to type and im sure there are typos and Beni means benificiary and Pet means petitioner

Also you DO need the passport photos even though they dont tell you that you need them on the list......

We're back from Dallas. It sure was a long drive (5.5+ hrs each way) for a 10 minute appointment.

We had to wait about 2 hours total once we arrived, they took our packet, payment and IDs and said to sit and wait. They finally called us in, and she reviewed some of the paperwork, asked a couple of minor questions, and told us that we had to apply to lift the conditions by 3 months before his GC expires. Beyond that she wished us well, said congrats and we were on our way. Should get the biometrics letter within a few weeks she said. It was all way too easy.

For anyone who is headed there soon, I'd suggest coming into the office from down Inwood Rd and around the corner onto the fwy access road rather than coming south down Stemmons. That's the way we went (from the Hampton Inn on Walnut Hill) and it took much less time, the traffic was backed up for miles today due to a wreck round about Inwood on the southbound lane of Stemmons. I lived in Dallas for a year or so and I still despise the traffic there.

That's that, now we just sit and wait again

I'm sitting here praying that our interview would be over with. i'm filling in and signing the mountain of forms now and they are being sent back to the attorney tomorrow. did I ever mention I hate filling forms out with a passion

Hi everyone. We just signed in for an infopass appointment and it will be on June 5th. I'm new on this thread but I've been a lurker for a while though.

I know this is sort of a dumb question but we signed in infopass using my name, the K3 holder. Shouldn't it be the USC?

Thanks. One more thing, should the birth certificate and marriage contract be submitted with their originals? I know that for the USC they only require "a copy of".

And unfortunately, I don't have any US ID yet. I can't get SSN since I don't have EAD. Unlike K1 people, they could get SSN even without EAD. That's the sad part on K3 . Anyway the question is, will I survive the interview even without any US IDs?

oki doke we have a wee bit of info. We are moving in the right direction towards that all elusive interview We have just signed all the forms AGAIN (after the ####### up) and got the notary and photocopies of passports etc done. we have an appointment with the attorney on the 26th of this month and then he wants us to do the interview either last week of May or first week of June so I am guessing that attorneys book up interview times in advance. its getting closer and i'm feeling so excited and less nevous now because we have car insurance and bank accounts now in our names as well to add to our evidence!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
