Hello,

Does anyone have any good estimates on how long it takes to have a K-1 fiancee visa approved by the US Embassy in Manila

after sending an IRS Form 1040 to them?

They kept my fiancee's passport and asked to just submit my 2012 Form 1040. We did this 3 weeks ago and we

are still waiting for the visa/passport to be returned approved.

Any guesses?

Thanks,

Mangoman

Have you contacted the Embassy and ask them for an update of your case? When in doubt... go to the source!

Hi again,

Anyone else going through this same experience right now where the Manila Embassy keeps your

finacee's passport and they have already received the requested information 3 weeks ago to finish

procesing the visa?

What is a good guess for the average waiting time for it to be processed?

Appreciate any good educated guesses.

Thanks

Hi Shawna,

Thank you so much for your reply back on my topic. I had previously contacted the Manila Embassy via their e-mail

address and was told both times to just wait until it's ready, prior to asking for any thoughts from the kind people

here on Visa Journey. Thank you so much for your kind reply, thoughtfullness and personal time in replying back with

useful information!
