The envelope that is to be presented at the POE to the immigration officers should not be opened!

YMMV

Hi, the delbros will send you two package ...

one plastic contain your passport - this is the one she COULD OPEN because you gonna need your passport at the airport and she should check it if there's any mistake or error in her information at her US visa attached in her passport.

the other package is like a dark yellow or light brown envelope which has cut in the right corner of the envelope that you could see all the documents you and her submitted at the start of the application. this SHOULD NOT BE OPEN, she gonna submit this at her POE - point of entry in US immigration. You could see a paper like note that t"this packet should not be open" then it really is because if she mistakingly open it, she needs to bring it back to US embassy in Manila to repacked it again.

goodluck!

Thats right, do NOT open it or she'll have to go to the embassy to get it resealed!

She did get the one with her passport right?, I think the visa is attached to her PP.

ruby was told that the 1 envelop contains all-- including her visa

Has she opened the express package received from the consulate? Does she have her passport? The visa is in her passport and not in side the sealed envelope.

YMMV

If it is only 1 package from delbros that is not like a plastic, i guess it is the main package of the entire package... it should contain a plastic of her passport and a plastic of the yellow envelope.

US visa should be attached in her passport, and she needs her passport as she enter Philippine Airport, if she shouldnt open it and she said the visa inside, she cant enter Phil airport premises and leave the country. where's her passport anyway??

If its the entire package since it was sent to the province, i guess the passport and the yellow envelope thats SHOULDNT BE OPEN are inside. Be careful then if you open it ... and be careful too not to open the yellow envelope contains documents, you could see it through the small cut on the right side of the yellow envelope thats documents where inside it.

Well, hopefully some people received their delbros package at some provinces could help out, Im from Manila and i received my packet in 2 plastic contains my passport with visa & the other is the envelope of documents.

god bless!

ruby now says it is only the plastic envelop she recieved, she can see her passport . but there is note with envelop not to open it

She can open the plastic envelope to retrieve her passport but should not open the other envelope inside the plastic one as this is what gets presented at the POE

YMMV

If she could see through her passport in the plastic ... open the plastic carefully for her to take the passport, and then she could see a yellow envelope inside that is been noted not to be opened.

Don't be to confused about this, she just need to be carefully opening the plastic then. She needs her passport or else she cant leave the country. the ENVELOPE that contains documents is the one not to be OPEN.

how can cfo put their stamp on her visa /passport if it is not to be opened?

I think you are confused about what we are telling you what can be opened and what cannot be opened. She needs to open the plastic ennvelope to retrieve her passport. Her passport is where her visa is. There is also a yeelow/brown sealed envelope accompanying her passport contained withing the plastic envelope that should remain sealed.

YMMV

Why do people get confused by this? The large plastic envelope contains 2 things, the passport and the sealed brown envelope, the package can be opened to remove the 2 items, the plastic envelope can be discarded if you wish just don't open the second item the sealed brown envelope that has the seals on it and the notation to be opened by POE officer. You will need the passport in-order to fly, and to check if the visa attached to the passport is correct.

Note: This question seems to be asked 1 or 2 times every week.

the confusion arises from 2 cultures trying to blend and understand the nuiances of language--- ruby has now --thru verbal extraction on my part-- that it is indee the plastic envelope, containing both items .

the passport and the brown envelop. when told not to open she follows directions. i forget how literal people of her culture are. they follow directions without question . very un-american haha. thanks for all the help
