Good morning you all. Hope you are waking up to a wonderful Tuesday, wherever you are in the world. I will be sending off a packet of 'proof' for Omar's interview today. I'm sending it early so it will be less expensive. Will still have to express deliver paperwork from the attorney once I get it. But things are moving along. Maybe we'll have an interview before the end of the year!

One more day until the next slumber party... :pop: See you girls there (and charles if he wants to join!)

She just posted 5 minutes ago they were denied, but we are waiting for details and to see if it was a denial or a AP. Give her your best support!

Good morning everyone. Went to the doctors yesterday afternoon. I have to go get some x-rays done on my lower back again and have 6 weeks of physical therapy! Oh joy! The plumber said that he's going to have to redo the bathtub spout and knobs in order for it to work because it's so old and in order to turn off the water you have to go all the way to the basement. Anyway, I'm tired and not feeling to well today. I hope everyone is doing well. Have a great day.

Working from home today so I'm lazy in my sweats. lol. Had my Hep A shot this morning and so far so good. Barely even felt the needle. They said I don't need Yellow Fever vaccine but will need Typhoid but after looking at it I'm not so sure I'm gonna take it. The antibiotics they gave me are in case I get diareah. I take two at the first sign of it along with immodium and then one the next day and that should cure it, though I hope I won't need it.

I have two parent/teacher meetings to go to this afternoon which is why I'm working at home. Hope they both go well! Otherwise heads will roll in this house tonight.

It's COLD here now! Was freezing last night and I had the heat on 68. Just turned it up to 70 so we'll see how that goes.

Hope everyone has a good one!

I ended up having to scan and email all of my proof things. I tried to send it about two months ago, but the post office I went to said there was a halt on sending all mail to morocco. I then tried to send it a few weeks later at a different post office and got the same reply. That's not to mention the fact that something I tried to send at the end of july made it to morocco but was returned to me! Can't figure out why, the arabic stamp is too faint to make out any letters and the french handwriting is chicken scratch!

Let me know what your post office says!

That's so odd because I was mailing things to Morocco at the same time. Were you using the USPS? I did send a letter to Fez to a host family last Spring and it was returned to me as undeliverable. BUT that was because they had sent it to MONACO! It was postmarked Monte CArlo and hand written that they were Monaco and not Maroc! The Post office wanted me to pay to resend and I said uh you guys sent it to not only the wrong country but the wrong continent. She had to get a supervisor to accept it for resending. LOL

I did send a very small package (about the size of a thank you card last week, with express mail and signature required- cost $30. 3-5 days delievery. Could have spent $70 to overnight it in 1-3 days. OUCH! I am afraid the evidence materials will coast a fortune. Maybe worth flying there and bringing it myself...or am i rationalizing an excuse to go back? :P

Good Morning fellow ME/NA VJ family. Just wanted to update you on Farid's arrival. His flight out of Casablanca left 2 hours late so arriving in NY he missed his connection. He said POE was great. Everyone was nice and friendly and there were no problems there. Royal Air Maroc set the passenger up, that missed their flights, at a hotel and also they were able to eat at the hotel as well. His next flight left this morning 8:35am NY time to arrive at LAX noon my time. I've got about 4.5 hours before I can see my honey and needless to say I'm super excited.

I'll post back after we get home. Good luck to Najia on your interview tomorrow! We're praying for a smooth interview and a quick visa in hand for you two! Inshallah.

That is odd Liz,because omar has been receiving the letters I send him. There isn't one missing that I know of, or returned. I'll let you know if I have probs with my package. Using Post Office, trackable mail.
