Does anybody know how my husband and I could go about processing a visa for my almost 18 year old twins. My husband is USC and has recently petitioned for me (pending) and still waiting for the AOS application . We were not sure what to do for the kids so we did not petition for them at the same time I was changing my status, since we were told that once a petition is filed, they could not come to the US even for a visit. I am at a loss. I have not seen my children for several years due to various reasons. Do we wait for my I-130 approval or do we go ahead and file their petitions while mine is pending. From experience, what do we need to do to expedite the process? I am new to this forum and any input will be greatly appreciated.

First thing to do is read through the guides:

There is not much that can be done to expedite the petition.

You have to wait until you have approval and green card.

Does that mean that my husband cannot petition for them and I have to do it after I get my green card? I am a little confused about this. Please help, anyone.
