Go home?

Seems a bit obvious.

The only way you can keep/extend your status other than finding a job is to go back to school. Pretty expensive alternative.. But at the end of a graduate degree you get another OPT. Can't think of any other option, sorry.

If you cannot find a job, you have some options, going home being the most likely

Not falling out of status is important as you do not want to hinder any chances of returning to the US in the future

If you cannot find a job, then back to school? Back home? what would you like us to say?

good luck

Go home or go back to school. You have 2 choices.

If you cannot find a paying job, you can do volunteer work. That count as a job too if it related to your major. Make sure to satisfy all the requirements though.

Also you only have 90days for the entire period of OPT. Say you find a job after 30days, but fired later. This time you have to find a job in 60 days.

Good luck

Are the 90 days currently enforced? Ask your international student advisor. I was on OPT in 2010, and due to the economic crisis, the USCIS was temporarily not enforcing the 90 day rule.

If the 90 day rule is currently enforced, your only options are to either go home or go back to school.

Marrying a USC, in itself, does not permit or entitle you to any extended status in the US

if you were to marry and adjust status in the US to a permenant resident, then yes you may stay

Good luck
