Vermont summers are nice, perhaps some of the processers are out on vacation. God it is in your hands now. [-o<

the problem is them screwing up most of the time and pretend it is just another paper. actually it is people's lives the are messing around...

The number of apps pending is going up and completions is going down. The number of new apps is going down. They are all complaining that they have a lot of apps. Why? because they aren't completing enough apps! all they do is complain about pending apps stockpiling while they aren't completing it. if you are able to complete a maximum of 6.5k apps per a month, then why are they doing less the other months? because they sold their filing operations to fci federal in april and thats when everything fcuked up! excuse my language here but this is no other better way to put it up.

this is obvious uscis mismanagement here because they screw up and their stats speak for itself.

if there is a congressional hearing over this, they would just blame fci federal and wash their hands clean.

Well now a NOA2 for July is almost not an option anymore, even August... Even with my fiance congressman involved I don't think it will make much of a difference. Definitely no wedding for us in 2012 ! This process is the mist painful thing i have ever gone through...Sorry people but I just feel lime crying now

I have done every think I know to do. Service Request, Follow up emails, Congressman - done it all. I suppose there is nothing more to do but wait. It seems like we are all in the same boat.

Yup. It appears VSC imploded on us...whatever happened..it was bad. and probably extends far beyond an H1B fiscal year ending issue...I would not be surprised to see 180-200 day processing times as an average now. They have quite the mess on their hands. And tragically there will be no way to resolve it for a while. A week of complete inactivity will have done nothing to help the situation this week..

I would expect adjudication no earlier than July 9th Katchoo..This week is obviously over and next week the holiday will slow things down again. And although I sincerely believe most of us will have NOA2 by end of July (January filers) there will probably be a few neglected petitions that have a wait that extends into August..and maybe even September. But hopefully none of us on VJ will endure that....I think using one's representatives could help with avoiding that (it seems they have greater influence when one's petition is significantly beyond normal processing time..

This is one of the most powerful organizations I have ever seen in action. They operate without any level of accountability. As much as I hate to say it, we are powerless and just have to hope that we get in and out with the least amount of anguish. It's a big machine and we are stuck in the wheels.

This is all so frustrating. Is there anything we all can do? Like may be file a complaint to someone or somewhere? We deserve some answers, precise updates on what the heck is going on in VSC. Calling them VSC operators is no different that talking to robots repeating same answer to everyone and as clueless as we are. I filed my petition in Feb and when my application went to VSC I was really happy and was expecting to see my approval in 3months or worst case in 5 whole months. But now it looks like I wont see it in near future at all. This feeling literally killing me inside. Feel really sorry for all of us and hoping for a miracle to happen.

Your worst case scenerio could 9 months or more. You may get an RFE toward the end and have to wait another three months before anyone bothers to look at the response and move the file along. I've decided to quite feeling sorry for myself about it because it doesn't help. Any immigration lawyers out there have any ideas?

Hope for the best and prepare for the worst.
