Is there a proper full comprehensive example and guideline to the DS-230? I have read all the available guidelines and various examples of this form.

It is not an overly difficult form but again there is room for being confused on it.

I personally am stuck on question #32: List all employment for 10 years. Do I include when I was a student? I know if I was to enter it in I should put down unemployed instead of student, as per G-325A, but do I put it in at all?

Question #32: List all educational institutions attended. I went to a university for two years but left to do another course, so do I enter it at all?

Question #35: Previous visits to the US. I just need to know what the visa type is called when you enter for a vacation. In my passport it says 'WB/WT FOR 90 DAYS' and the 'WT' is circled for each visit I had. Is that all I put down?

Thanks guys 'n gals!

Don't try to over-think the questions.

If the question asks for employment for the last 10 years, then list only employment for the last 10 years.

On the question of educational institutions attended, list them all even if you only took one class there.

On question 35, since I'm a USC, I have never had to get one of these and can't really help you out on that, however here is the link to the State Department website concerning visa types...hope it helps. Good Luck.

I think

You should 1.

include when you were a student(put unemployed)no any gap left.

2. yes, all put down.

3. you can put a tourist visa (B2)

Maybe others have better answer because your situation is similar as mine.

I stand corrected. hktw is right. List whether employed or unemployed for the last 10 years; no gap.
