I just send my package last week , however , my passport is expired , is this going to be a problem ?? Very worried !

An expired passport is not an issue. It is still valid ID. You should, however, consider filing for a new passport while your AOS is under consideration. I would caution you, however, if you're required to send in your old passport to get a new one -- hold off on that until after the AOS.

It all really depends on the mood of the Border Patrols. BPs are kinda fickle. You don't want to be in direct violation of any immigration laws. It's best to get a renewed passport before traveling. I've heard of problems with Advance Parole Travel Permits as well. A lot of the BP/international customs are NOT familiar with the i-131. Therefore it's best to bring in a copy of your 797c approval form and a copy of the AOS form as an "insurance" of reentry.

Good luck. :)

Um, the OP cannot travel at all with an expired passport. That was not the question. Having an expired passport is okay for AOS (which was the question).

AOS for my husband
8/17/10: INTERVIEW DAY (day 123) APPROVED!!

ROC:
5/23/12: Sent out package
2/06/13: APPROVED!
