We got approved 6 June and we are awaiting further instructions but can anyone please explain to me, will I(the beneficiary) need to complete the forms on line and send them electronically or will the London Embassy send me the forms?

If it is on line, do I print the forms off and send the hard copies to London or do I send them electronically? I have been searching on here but cannot find the answer.

Thank you

Hi AdetteAdette, here is all the info about the forms you'll need to send after you get the packet 3 letter: http://london.usembassy.gov/iv_15.html You can start filling these out right now so when you get the packet 3, you can send it off right away. All of the forms are in the upper right corner. DS-156 is the only one that actually needs to be completed "online" where you enter the information on a webpage and it generates a PDF that you need to have printed. Some people have had browser issues with it, but I did it on my work computer (Windows 7, IE9) and it was OK. Everything else is a form-fill PDF that you can fill out and then print or do by-hand.

After you get packet 3, send hard copies of DS-230-Part 1, 2 copies of Form DS-156, 2 copies of DS-157 and the DS-156K to the embassy. The DS-156K will tell you that you need your birth certificate, police certificate, etc. as well, but don't send the supplemental stuff with the forms, only send the forms. At the same time, book your medical.

Thank you, that is really helpful, I will start looking at the forms etc, I will probably go to the local library to print them off.

Really appreciate everyone's help, I honestly don't know what I would have done without Visajourney.

Best wishes to everyone on here.
