hi guyz,

i have seriously started to worry about my biometrics cuz i have not recieved any text , email or mail yet for the appointment.

i checked previous threads for N400 and noticed that i'm late.

should i just wait n see or its something to worry about ?

or can i call them up and ask for it ?

You might not have to worry about biometrics at all as you had it done less than a year ago. Applications are sometimes processed without biometrics if the applicant had biometrics done less than 15 months before the application.

N-400 application timeline

02-22-2012-- (00): documents sent

02-23-2012-- (01): NOA date

02-27-2012-- (05): check cashed

03-02-2012-- (09): bio appointment notice sent, bio date 03-15 (23)

03-05-2012-- (12): bio notice received

03-06-2012-- (13): early bio

03-12-2012-- (19): in line for interview scheduling

03-21-2012-- (28): scheduled for interview

03-28-2012-- (35): interview notice received

Did you sign up for status updates at https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/jsps/selectusertype.jsp ?

If not, you will not receive anything even if you submitted G-1145, E-Notification of Application/Petition Acceptance. That's good for only the initial submission.

Also, your priority date seems to be 06/06/2012. So you are not at a stage to worry.

If you received your NOA in the mail successfully they obviously have your correct address. You're not really overdue considering your NOA is 6/6/12 and it's only been 10 business days today :) . Don't stress too much, I'm sure it will show up shortly.

Nothing wrong with NYC. Oh wait, they might have slightly more people going trough biometrics appointments than middle-of-nowhere, Indiana. So maybe it takes slightly more time to schedule your appointment.

Your local office is obviously busier than the other two people who have received their biometrics appointments who filed at the same lockbox. Once it has been more than 30 days since the date of your NOA1 you can call USCIS. 30 days plus a little longer for the letter to arrive with you is normal. NYC is usually very busy, as is my local office. Took about 6 weeks from my NOA1 to my biometrics appointment. Expect this kind of wait and if it turns up early then that will be a bonus! :)

I have seen NYC be very slow for issuing biometrics appointments in the past, just like my local office is. I waited for 98 days for my biometrics appointment for ROC. As I said, if it gets to 31 days and you haven't heard anything you can call USCIS but you still won't be allocated an appointment until your local office has an open slot. I did find that calling them after 31 days set my mind at ease that my appointment hadn't been lost in the mail. :)
