Fine but you're still dancing around the point. Why is it so hard for you to acknowledge the simple fact that private insurance has failed to save Medicare money?

He won't acknowledge anything he is wrong about. He will just call you an "idiot" like he did with me. :P

Because it hasn't. If you consider one test model that DOES NOT mirror the original model that you are comparing it to, a failure, then I'm not sure you understand the entire concept of a free enterprise.

My point was never to establish that MA was just as cost effective as Medicare, my point was to show that gov't, for the most part cannot run public service programs as efficiently as a private company. And I believe hat has been established seeing not one true example to the contrary has been cited.

Sure it has. Medicare Advantage costs more than Medicare. No savings, promise not delivered. You can deny that all you want but it does remain a simple, verifiable fact.

More efficient would either mean more service for the same cost or the same service at a lower cost. MA has not delivered either. How are they more efficient?

Will my agreeing with you make you feel better? Mind you, you have still not disproven my point. If anything, finding only one example makes my point for me.

I never called you an idiot, please don't spread lies.

No, not one bit. It would merely show that you are capable of absorbing the simple, verifiable fact that private insurance has not delivered any cost savings for Medicare but has rather increased the cost to the program.

Why don't you prove your point? Why don't you show me how private insurance has saved Medicare money? Go ahead, show me!

That was never my point, nor did I ever make that claim! You seem to be inflicted with the same reading comprehension problems as a couple other posters here, you read what you want to and make up things as you go along.

Amnesia? Here's the point you wanted to make.

It is a proven fact that the private sector is more efficient than the gov't.

If this was true, turning Medicare over to private enterprise would have resulted in beneficiaries receiving the same service at less cost to the government. That was the whole point of the privatization. It was done based on the wisdom you tout there blindly. Problem is, cost savings haven't happened. The opposite has happened. So where's the efficiency?

You've come up with ONE example and ONE example only, one which is very questionable to say the least, I don't believe it's a true comparison. But none the less, wouldn't you agree that it would take more than one example to disprove my point? Is Medicare the only gov't run program that exists? No, it's not, one example does not disprove my statement, if anything the fact that you can only come up with one, proves my point. Bottom line is that the private sector is more efficient and more profitable in almost all of it's endeavours when compared to gov't run programs. That was my point!

You were fun for a while, but you've grown tired and repetitive, kinda like a dog chasing his tail. Please move on.

Where is your point? What facts do you have? Opinion is not fact.

Do you log out after posting and then log back in under a different name to give your posts a plus 1? It's the only logical explanation I could think of on how you would get that plus 1.
