Question: Joint Sponsor; I-864, Affidavit of Support

My wife (now a USC) is petitioning for her parents to come to the USA. She does not have the income levels required by the terms in the I-864, so I will need to co-sponsor. Does anyone know how this is done. Would both my wife and I complete separate I-864 forms? When does form I-864A come into play?

Your wife completes form I-864 and you complete I-864A only. If your combined income levels exceed 125% of the poverty levels, that should be sufficient,

Hello, I have a quick question about the $420 filing fee. If you petition both parents, Do you need to send a separate check of $420 for each? or can you just send a single check which is $840 for both? Thanks

separate petitions separate everthing, you can send everything in one big envelope. all documents must be separate, including payments.
