HOW CAN MUSLIM LIVE IN USA CAN THEY WEAR EVERYTHING THEY WANT

WHAT ABOUT WEARING ANNI9AB IS IT PRMESSIBLE

all is permissible.

you can wear anything you want.

if you would like to feel comfortable, find a local mosque, talk with the imam, then ask about local gatherings and meetings. Some communities have banded together, and live in the same area so the social more` of 'not fitting in' is OK.

If you follow Sharia Law, get to the Iman, ask for a local interpretation so you won't feel undressed.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

First of all please type in small caps. Basically don't TYPE LIKE THIS. Instead type like this :)

Depending on what state you are in you can find the local mosque on the internet. Everything legal is permissible but if you don't want weird looks try to dress like other people around you. You might get away with certain things in bigger cities where people are much used to interacting with practicing Muslims...

Salam....do you know if you will be living in a big city or a really small town?

I follow Islamic dress and wear hijab only to cover my hair, not my face, like niqab and I just wear long sleeved shirts and pants. I live in a pretty big city in California and I have never had a problem, people I deal with are very nice to me, including at my job and strangers I meet only once.

Most muslim women in my city wear regular hijab, I don't think I've ever seen a woman wearing niqab in public.

There may be a few cities with a very large Muslim population, like Dearborn, Michigan or in New York that I have seen women wearing niqab.

we live in a very small town and are the only Muslim family here ......we don't have a lot of problem in our small town other than the normal as in the schools don't know what to feed the kids and have a hard time giving something that has nothing to do with pork..on the days that pork is served..or when my younger sisters play in sports getting permission to wear hijab....but in a larger town not to far from us we have had problems.........and there is at least one women that wears niqab there it does not seem to bother her too much when people stare ........we live in a rural area ........i think that you have to decide for yourself what your willing to put up with personally from people and if your worried about the way people look at you then its up to you what you feel is best for you in the way you dress.....one of my elder sisters does not even wear hijab when she works because of fear of not being able to work (wal-mart) but does wear it when she does not work....

just my own opinion

i will live in pensylvania pittsburgh ther are a few muslim their

I am sure there must be a Islamic center in Pittsburgh where you can get some pointers as to Mosques.

In regards to your original question, the answer is yes, you can dress according to your faith in this country and many, indeed do. Having said that, be prepared for inquisitive looks from others and do not take these looks as offensive or anything other than the curiosity which is natural in all of us, before something or someone about which or whom we don't know much.

It is no different than when you see someone walking down the street wearing something that entices your curiosity, for whatever reason.
