Hello everyone! Im supper happy and i thought i'd share my happiness with you all..and No its not our NOA2..Sadly our pettition still has a while to go.Okay so here it goes...I finally get to see my husband again, and not only that but he gets to see our beautiful baby boy for the first time! While i was pregnant i returned to the us after getting merried because we wanted our son to be a usc like his mommy.. It was extremely hardd being pregnant with out having by husband with me and the day i gave birth with out him is by far the saddest day of my life...Wait the 7 hrs of labor and the pain And not having him there were the sades, holding my son was the happies i have ever been, i gues what im trying to explain is May 12, 2012 was very bitter/sweet...Anyway now my son is almost two months ( but he looks 4 :D) and on july the 6th we will be together for good untill our petition gets approved..So heres my question, should i report my change of address? since im moving to mexico...even if thats possible i know that would proabably make our NVC precess a whole lot longer so i plan on getting all the paperwork ready to send by e-mail and just have my sister call from here (the u.s) and let me know what NVC needs?? do you think thats a good idea??? THANK YOU ALl !!!!

Yes, definitely report your change of address via the USCIS site.

Since you're filing for a CR-1 visa, once you get to the NVC, it will be all-electronic from there on out anyway -- so aside from a little extra paperwork, I wouldn't anticipate the address change to slow down your case much.

Good luck!

7 Mar 2011 - Mailed the I-130 package

12 Nov 2011 - Became a U.S. resident (+250 days)

18 Sep 2017 - Sworn in as a U.S. citizen (+2137 days)

you might want to change the address to be your sister's address in the USA, but really, once the casefile is at NVC,

you can handle all via telephone and email , as you can do electronic processing at NVC. So, make sure you have access to a scanner in Mexico with the ability to create PDF files on a computer. Also make certain that you have online access to your bank account, so you can review when the NVC sucked monies out of your account.

Good Luck !

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.
