Hello!

Thank you all ! This forum is the most amazing forum that I ever encounter, and hope that someday I can help others with their questions as well!

I am currently organizing the proof/evidence part for the AOS package from my F-1 status. However, I have looked everywhere on the forum and found that the numbers of pictures sent to the lockbox vary from "none" to 60+ . Doing all the paperwork recently is not keeping me sane at all  , so I was wondering whether VJers recently got approved and could shed some light on the following two topics:

(1) the numbers of photos necessary in this initial step of submitting to the lockbox :

should we overload them upfront, or just decent number to illustrate our relationship before marriage and wedding photos and wait for the mountain-high photos for the interview?

(2) organization of photos :

All in a ziploc bag and write description on the back? or print it in a photobook with year/occasion/description indicated? or put them in a 3-ring photo binder pocket?

Thanks for all your input!

Send no more than 10 photos to the lockbox from various points in your relationship. It is important to note the date, location and people in the photos on the back of the photo in black pen or marker (fine point Sharpie). Save the albums and hundreds of photos for the interview. Sending more may result in them being lost or misplaced as the folders they place your applications into don't have the support for a litany of evidence. In addition, the NBC is looking for completeness of the application they aren't adjudicating it. Save the photos for the IO at your local office.

You never need a "mountain" high amount of photos. We sent zero pictures. The person who approves or denies your case is going to meet you anyway at your mandatory joint interview. If you want to send some now, send a few.

Never submitted pictures with our 3 aos packets, we did bring some with us to interview, none of our simple wedding. The interviewer looked over a few joint bills in our name my insurance cards with her and kids name on it. We also brought affidavits from the kids ESL teacher at school explaining how I and the kid's mom were involved with conferences, sports, etc. We even brought her nephew to translate, the interview was painless and lasted 10 minutes top.

By action is one a noble.

THank you all for the quick reply !!!! This makes life so much easier as I don't have to worry about not sending enough!

Another question - Are phone call logs necessary in this initial step?? Will copies of email communications be enough??

Thanks!

We didn't send any pictures initially. But we did bring a small album with maybe 20-30 pictures to the interview.

We also didn't send any call logs or emails or anything like that with the initial package. Figured it was thick enough as it was! We Just sent copy of our lease and joint bank account.

Brought a few more things to the interview ( loan papers, joint insurance policies, etc) none of which the IO looked at. He did look at a few of the wedding pictures though.

Thank you for all the replies! I am feeling so much calmer just by looking at all your prompt advice ! Will save everything besides the essentials for the interview.
