My wife has her interview in 2 days in tegucigalpa, honduras. I have concerns about a couple of things. First, I have my divorce decree but do I need some kind of special divorce record from the previous marriage? Next is my birth certificate. After we finished the physical today, the doctor gave us a letter of requirements for the interview. That letter said the applicant and the petitioner must have (long-form) birth certificates. I have one but not sure if it's a long form. I have a passport so I don't see whats the difference. In short, my wife has everything required but I now have question if I do? Anybody got advice?

For you, original or certifiied copy of birth certificate (this is to prove that you are a US citizen and have the right to be a petitioner). For Honduran born spouse, 'forma literal' (should not have any handwriting on it, except for signatures). They should return all documents to you before you leave the embassy.

Good Luck!
