Hello VJers. Im new to this site. There is a question in the application form asking which consulate I will apply or I am near. I live in kitchener Ontario. So, which consulate?

K1 Visa.

Service Center : Vermont Service Center

Consulate : Montreal, Canada

I-129F Sent : 2012-01-26

Interview Date : 2013-03-04

Visa Received : 2013-03-11

US Entry : 2013-05-02

Marriage : 2013-05-13

EAD/AP

May 24.2013 (Day 1 ) Mailed may 24, 2013

May 28 .2013(Day 4 ) Recieved: may 28 and 30, 2013( AOS,AP,EAD online and text)

June 27.2013(Day 34 ) Biometric: june 27 walked in ,(scheduled july 2.)

July 26.2013 (Day 58 ) EAD/AP approved Card in Production (july 26)

August 3.2013(Day 65 ) EAD/AP card recieved ( aug 3)

That depends on where you are in the process. For the I-129F, I had put Toronto because it was the closest consulate to where I live. After your petition has been approved they will process your case in Montreal and that is the consulate you will be sending your packet 3 to as well as interviewing there. I would just put Montreal. Regardless of what you put, if you live in Ontario or any province east of there, you will be dealing with Montreal. Anywhere west of, and including, Manitoba, will go to the Vancouver consulate.

You'll be going to Montreal. It's a bit of a pain in the #### but only Montreal and Vancouver process K1s. I put Toronto on my I-129F too because I didn't know I'd have go to Montreal at the time and found out when I got my MTL case number that I wasn't going to Toronto.
