Hello,

An Italian friend of mine is here in the US on an E2 investor's visa since about 15 years and has now won in the DV2013 lottery. How does she have to proceed now with her AOS?

Does she first have to send the forms DS-230 and DSP-122 to the KCC (like the winners who go through the consular process) and indicate there that she wants to do AOS or does she have to apply directly for AOS?

Will she later need a police certificate from Italy or is this not necessary in this case?

Thanks for your help!

She will need the police certificate for every country ( other than the US ) that she has lived over 6 months since she turned 18. Then her number is current she can submit AOS, if she submits early they will keep the money and deny it.

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.
