The packet is recieved with the passport once the visa is attached correct?

This being the mysterious packet that is turned over at the POE.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.

27 March 2009 Check Cashed

30 March 2009 NOA received

8 April 2009 Biometric notice arrived by mail

24 April 2009 Biometrics scheduled

26 April 2009 Touched

...once again waiting

1 September 2009 (just over 5 months) Approved and card production ordered.

She is getting her passport with the visa in it tomorrow via DHL, just wondering if that packet is going to be there too :)

Edit:

It says on there the visa is inside the packet... Does that mean you don't get the passport back in hand?

Edit:

It says on there the visa is inside the packet... Does that mean you don't get the passport back in hand?

You have to have the passport in hand to show security before boarding the plane. So my guess is the passport will accompany the sealed "do not open" envelope.

Edit:

If they mail the package it will be a large envelope with the passport with visa attached and brown envelope, the outer envelope can be opened to remove the 2 items the sealed envelope and the passport.
