NVC Email Address for Research

I heard that you can scan and email your I-797 Notice of I-130 petition to NVC for them to check on the status of your case. Please I was just wondering if anybody can tell me their email address and the information I have to put down when sending them the scanned approval notice. Thanks.

that's right...but

on the subject must be the WAC # (that's the receipt number given to you by the USCIS

on the body of your email:

beneficiary's name

beneficiery's date of birth

petitioner's name

petitioner's date of birth

then you can ask your question

1.place case number in subject line

2.attach copy of your approval notice

3. write petitioner and beneficiary full name and date of birth in the body of email

4.explain to them your situation (when approval was received and that your want to know the status of your case)

My USCIS approval was almost 2 months ago but I havent received anything from NVC. I wrote NVC inquiry twice and got no response, then I called them. They said they didnt have my case number and told me to scan the approval letter to NVC research email. does anyone have any experience in getting anything back from NVC research in a timely matter. Should I contact USCIS and find out what NVC doesnt have my case number? thanks.
