priority date?

hello VJers :) which is priority date? the date they received our case? the date on their website? or the date on the paper they send us that they receive our docs? thank you in advance :)

When you check your case status on USCIS.gov, or on the NOA1, it says "On xx/xx/2012 we received this....."

That's your priority date. Your official NOA1 date!

Not according to this it isn't....

so it means the one we see on their website is the received date and the notice date on the hard copy that they sent us is the priority date? thank you so much :)
