hey call today and told me that the case is in the embassy and waiting for response on the appointment .... me too my case send 18 the embassy....

USCIS

12/22/11: I129F Sent

12/27/11: NOA1 Received

04/27/11: RFE. !!!

05/18/12: RFE. RECEIVED

05/31/12: NOA2 text and e-mail

NVC

06/14/12: NVC received our file

06/18/12: NVC Case Number# in the embassy REP>DOM

09/06/12: Consulado Date Interview .

Got the case number, left for the embassy on Monday 18th :thumbs:

That's pretty quick. Normally spends a good week or so at the NVC so I'm guessing it was probably there around the 11th

Last two posters, congrats! I feel I am a bit jealous of you VSC filers spending only 2 weeks waiting for NVC to receive your petitions. I'm currently on 3 weeks + 1 day.

Well I am still convinced I've heard that guy on a car insurance advert...

Hahaha. I wouldn't be surprised. He's quite the charming character that one, makes the wait just a tiny bit easier knowing he wants to talk to me.

NVC hasn't received our application yet. 2 weeks since NOA2. I know it takes time, but I'm slightly impatient. Hope I can wait a week before calling again.

I just got off the phone with them and they still don't have ours :bonk: .. it will be a month on Sunday since we received our NOA 2!

I called USCIS to see why they haven't sent it yet and they said they put in a request to the person who approved our petition and they will reply to me no later than July 4!! I think I ran out on patience in the beginning of May :whistle:

I wonder how you got somebody to even say that, even more amazed if they actually will do something. Last time I called USCIS (and a month has elapsed since my NOA2) they told me they will not do anything about it unless it has been 90 days since approval dayblink.gif Please tell me your secret.

The first time I have sent an inquiry Form, I got an automatic reply mail. the second time I sent, there was no reply and so with the 3rd and 4th..does this normally happen?
