Sure, to some degree. But I think if there was any population from any specific South American country representing 1% or more of the illegal population, it would have made the list as a line item. I'd imagine that Asian, African and European illegals are the vast majority of these 15% labeled only as "others". But even if half or 2/3 of that 15% was Hispanic, that still wouldn't bring the total above 90% as the man with a calculator claimed. That's where only having a calculator doesn't cut it - knowing how to use it would appear to be helpful.

Even without a fraction of that 15%, 62+5+4+3+1 adds up to 75%, which means that 3 out of 4 illegal migrants are indeed Hispanic - a very significant number.

We have a habit in this society of associating the majority of a group of people with a singular type of person. It may not be right. It's not bigoted though against the race, it's just ignorant.
