Hi guys, my name is annie and I got my noa 2 approved around may 22, i was waiting so long for it and I received an email on may 22 that it was approved,

my fiancee got the hard copy a few days later.

Now i dont know what to do, the step by step here in visa journey is not goign to help me much anymore since manila embassy is apparently different and weird.

I read that I am not supposed to wait for any notice coming from the manila embassy to my house because they dont do that anymore.

So should I just go to BPI with my passport and money?

Is there an option to make me pay this online? I read there is one through bancnet and bpi online but it is only for their clients only. Any other banks?

Please help me I am really scared the noa2 is going to expire 4 mos from the date of approval, which according to my estimate would be September 2012.

Thank you in advance.

WOW, I could not immagine waiting this long after getting my NOA2 before trying to contact anyone. You should contact NVC at (603) 334-0700. Their hours are Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 12:00 AM (Eastern Time. NVC should have your Manilla case number. Use that number and your passport to pay your visa fee at any BPI. Use the receipt number from your payment to schedule your interview with Manila Embassy. Once your appointment is set you can go to your medical exam.

You are now in the hands of the U.S. State Department and things should move MUCH quicker now. CONGRADULATIONS!!!!!!

Don't worry too much about your NOA2 expiring; if it gets close to the expiration date then just call the embassy and you can get an extension.

Give them 7 - 10 days before calling. Call after 4:45 PM eastern time for shorter wait times

K1's are not tracked through the AVR, ever. They are processed like an immigrant visa, but they are NOT immigrant visas, so they fall into a completely different class of their own. Therefore you need an operator. To get there:

1-603-334-0700 Operator assistance is available Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 12:00 AM (Eastern Time)

Press 5 for an operator

NVC CONTACT INFORMATION:

* NVC Case Number or USCIS Receipt Number (Place in the subject line of the e-mail).

After NOA2 AND YOU HAVE YOUR MNL # (don't need to wait for the letter from the embassy )

(open all of these links then save them to your bookmarks so you have them for easy access)

Go to BPI bank with your passport and pay the visa fee, then wait between 4 and 24 hours before going on the embassy website to schedule your interview (rarely can you do this at the 4 hour mark, we wait a day)

Embassy:

The DS-156 can be difficult to complete sometimes, if you have issues try a different web browser. I had problems getting it to print with IE8 (did not try IE9 at that time), Chrome, Firefox, finally got it to print using Safari.

When scheduling online with the embassy you need to include the "XX" at the beginning of the passport number, your passport number IS your receipt number.

Priorty Date; this is the date the NOA 2 was approved.

Make sure to print two copies of the interview confirmation page as you will need one for St. Luke's and the other for the embassy.

Have copies of passport bio page, confirmation page from scheduling interview online at embassy, and of course the 2X2 photos. (copy of annulment is asked for at times)

Preregister at St. Luke's, it saves time when you arrive.

CFO:

ALL exiting required to attend.

http://www.cfo.gov.p...atid=140#ThirdA

Required documents & "OTHER DOCUMENTS" they ask for at CFO: copies of; CENOMAR, certified birth certificate, bio page of passport, visa page from passport, pictures together, from USC - bio page of passport, birth certificate, divorce decree (if been married before) are the most common. The "other documents" clause can be ANYTHING with those nit-wits at CFO.

how is that your petition expires? i've never heard of that.

it has a duration of validity, 120 days from NOA-2 issuance date.

What's up?

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

i know guys. ive been frantic about this since i got my noa2.

thank you so much for the detailed information hank.

to be honest, since day one i have been the one fixing our paperwork. printing it and sending to my fiancee. i know its weird.

but oh well guys dont want to do paperwork stuff.

it was just a little bit hard because i didnt know what to do. but the good thing is that i was pretty methodical and meticulous in fixing my papers..which is why we didnt suffer anything BUT the long wait of the noa2.

so when the noa2 came i had to print the affidavit of support form out to send to my fiancee. then it took him some few days to send it to me due to being busy. so i am waiting for the filled out affidavit of support form and the noa2 hard copy that i am supposed to bring to the interview with me.

right now i still have not been able to pay and set my interview date.

i have to get my nbi clearance, a new cenomar (certificate of no marriage) since my cenomar expired already (i got one last year june 8, 2011) and birth certificate.

My fiance told me that in noa1 it says I-129f petition will expire on June 30, 2012

also checking status in USCIS website we saw the RED INK DATE 6-30-2012 all the way down

I guess it's same date as the noa1 says.

You mean the date that says this on the web page?

OMB control no. 1615-0080

Expiration date 6-30-2012

That is an expiration date on the web page as part of a control system in the US government. It has nothing to do with your application expiration. You'll see a date for that when you get the NOA2. Don't worry, your application is not expiring on the 30th.

NOA1 no longer matters. You're operating on the NOA2 now. My wife's NOA1 for a K-1 didn't have any expiration date on it. The NOA2 should give you 4 months from approval to expiration, for you to get things completed. If you're running out of time, you can call the embassy and they can extend that date for you.
