Hi everyone! Thank you for reading my topic.

I want to tell a little about me first

I am 24 years old male from LA (San Fernando Valley)

Don't know whats going on with me...

Came to US 3 years ago I found job as a cook,

Worked there for 2 years but then I lost that job.

2 month already i can't find ANY job!

Walmart, Target, Costco, etc. No one is hiring

I go every work day to HRs, restaurants cafes.

Changed my resume 10 times.

I dress good - nice dark jeans, black, brand leather sneakers

and nice polo shirt or shirt.

Have no tattoo, piecing, don't smoke, speak with a little accent

but speak good English, I am clean person short hair etc...

Just regular, every day normal guy.

I shocked! I CANT FIND ANY JOB! HOW I WOULD SURVIVE!

I tried to make some friends but I couldn't, so no

one can help me with that.

The main question is after 2-3 month I will run out of money completely.

What can I do?

1) Suicide

Don't like to give up, don't want to be a looser. Scared of the GOD too...

2) Be a homeless

I don't really like this choice.

3) I can jump in my car and just drive to another state to find a job

Which State you would recommend me? Which city?

Stuff like go to school, start you own business not gonna work, because I am broke.

I am really depressed.

I feel like people HATE me, they just don't like me.

Also I feel like I am a good person, I always did good job at work,

I know how to manage things.

Yeah life sometimes give us hard time... But come on...What I am gonna do after 2-3 months?

Sorry for crying but what you think guys?

Number 3 is a good choice? Which State, which city you think...

Drive nearby town, have lots of copy of your resume and then, every business establishment you think might give you job, stop by and handle your resume. It doesn't matter if they have opening or no, just handle your resume. Hopefully you'll get job.

Goodluck. Don't do your option one. Don't lose hope. God Bless.

Do you qualify for the job corps ?

I maybe do qualify but what are they doing is they give you some sort of training. I don't need training to work at Walmart)

If you really feel this way about the military, then it's good you are not interested in joining because your life would be hell there.

The best way to get a job these days, in my opinion, is through networking.

Does your state offer worker retraining programs?

Training retraining is good, but...

Come on) I need some regular job like any market or even fast food even McDonald's just to survive.

And if I can't get job even there or they offering something like

3 hours a day 4 days a week for 8 bucks like 20-30 miles away(

I am not mind take any job but reliable so at least I can cover my food, gas, rent expenses.

Here is how you get a job:

- Drive to a construction site, ask for a job. Most likely you will get one.

- Go to small local business, ask if they have any job open.

- Donut shop usually hire.

If you keep doing the above, you will get one within a week I promise.

Actually, I live in North Dakota, Minot to be exact. There are job openings everywhere. I don't think a single place is not hiring. Granted, there aren't a lot of people here and it is cold, but it would be better than options 1 and 2. The oil companies around here are also hiring just about anyone, and paying 70-80k a year...Also I'm in the military, and it is not bad once you get used to it. THERE ARE OPTIONS.

Are you legal?

If you are, and can drive/ willing to learn how to drive a truck, that makes quite good money.
