Trying to call USEM.. keep getting disconnected

I've been trying to call the Manila USEM for over 2 hours now and it disconnects every time, right as the IVR voice is talking about how the info is available on the website.

Is this some Monday morning thing there or is it a real problem with the comm system?

My fiancee is in Manila now, going to SLEC. We're still trying to resolve the issue with her K2 son's interview appointment and I can't reach the embassy at all.

My fiancée is at SLEC right now too. I just dropped her off about an hour ago. we're staying right across from the embassy. There is some construction going on. Maybe that has something to do with your problems getting through?

09/01/2012 - AOS, AP, EAD Applied for via USPS Registered Mail

09/09/2012 - EMails for all three forms arrived.

09/1?/2012 - NOA 1s for all three arrived.

Hmmm... maybe somebody cut a line during the construction. Ah well, I will try again in my morning.

The Embassy phone system is a nightmare, you go to the IVR, then dial to a number and it hangs up....typical for them....sorry!

Probably raining in manila as well cuz the typhoon just got out of PAR. by the way your wife texted me earlier asking if she could do the medical... So advice her to bring her nvc number and she can do advance cfo seminar as well while waiting for her interview on the 28th.

Well, the phone lines are still down as of this morning here in the US. Same issue as before.

The good news is that my fiancee and her son have now completed Day 1 of the SLEC medical and will return on Wednesday their time to get x-ray and skin test results.
