Hey Guys,

Good question that I cant find a good answer to. I am a Perm Resident. Eligible for Natz in Jan 2014. I am Canadian, and my parents were born in Croatia, I am eligible for Croatian Citizenship, and was thinking of getting it before Croatia becomes an EU country in 2013 in case things change. Will I jepordise my greencard?

I have no intents to leave the United States, as my whole life is here, the Croatian citizenship is more of a family thing and I would like to have it for the future.

I was going to ask USCIS, but I know people here on VJ usually know more :)

So is it basically, as long as I keep meeting the requirements of my greencard here I can take another citizenship and it won't cause any issues?

and If I am asked at my naturalization interview I just tell them the facts? *confused*

it totally doesn't matter. I have 2 passports. they only cared about the one I applied with.
