You don't need to send them a lot, just 2 or 3 pictures is good to go for filing petition. You may need more than 10 pictures for interview at the embassy.

"Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths." (Proverbs 3, 5-6)

Pictures are considered secondary evidence and do not carry a lot of weight in proving meeting. So two or three of them together in the same location as indicated by the stamps in the passport, boarding passes, and receipts for hotels, meals, airline tickets, etc will help show that the main proof is backed up by the photos. It is better to have the primary proof than a lot of photos. We did not include any photos as we did not have any of us together as I was the one behind the camera. The main thing that has to be proved is meeting in person within the last two years. Proof of an on-going relationship is for the interview once the petition is approved. At that stage more photos may be required, but phone logs, e-mails, skype, and other methods of communications should be saved to show this. Again photos are not considered primary evidence so not many need to be submitted. The once they have should be enough but that depends on the Embassy/Consulate they will be having the interview at as each one is unique. Just thinking ahead for them.

Good luck,

Dave

First I sent them 2. I got RFEs for proof of meeting in person because I didn't send them copies of all my passport pages (first page to stamped page) So I included a couple more pictures the 2nd time.

The VJ guidelines say to send 3-5 pictures. Remember the person approving your initial step in the K-1 process will spend a total of 10-15 minutes. I've asked several people who were approved since I was nervous to only send 6 pictures and was told that 6 was more than enough. Hope this helps.

When filing for the petition, I did 2 picutres per visit me and fiancee did. If they do not have a digital date on them, then just to be on the safe side make sure that you and your fiancee sign and date all photos.

So, for example, if you have make 5 trips within the past 2 years of filing this petition, I would send in 10 picutres.

However between now and your interview continue making trips and taking pictures, it will help and reinforce your relationship when it comes down to the CO at the interveiw!

First time I sent my itinerary. After I got my RFEs, I also included copies of my boarding passes (from what other members say I don't think there's year on the boarding pass, just day and month so it didn't mean much as proof of meeting.)
