Proof of relationship

Hi everyone. My boyfriend and I will start the K1 visa process in a few months but I like to be prepared

So here is our situation : he is a marine, we met while he was here on post in Morocco. He is now stationed somewhere else, he just left a couple of weeks ago, we plan to meet soon. If everything goes well, he'll go back to the US in a year.

So, I have a few questions.

- Seeing as we've been in the same city, same neighborhood, we won't have plane tickets, hotels receipts and such. Just proof that we both lived in the same city for a year. Will that be enough or do I somehow need to prove that we actually met (not talking about pictures of course)?

- I've heard that some people add witness letters to their files? Is that a good thing to do?

All he really needs is a copy of his orders posting him there. Then the proof you have already of living in the same city + pictures etc.

Ok, thank you. He actually works at the embassy so we know that they're really careful about the proof, since a lot of people commit fraud, I guess that makes me nervous
